digital screen problems
I bought this iron on January 2007 and today it quit working. I turned it on and the digital screen is stuck on the first setting (heat level 1). I unplugged it and plugged it back on and it still does not work. I expect an iron to last longer than a year and a half especially since I only use it twice a month to iron a handful of garments.

this is a pretty good iron, minus the lack of continuity. The iron seems to lag in between ready when the steam buttom is pushed more than once within 5 seconds, it flashes, but the manual tells you to wait 5 seconds in between burst of steam, but who has 5 seconds LOL.

DO NOT BUY THIS IRON
Purchased this D-2030 iron about a month ago and it quit working after two weeks.
Cut the cord off like they told me to and sent it to the Ohio servicecenter and they send me a cheaper D-2020 iron.
Now they tell me that the D 2030 model is no longer available.
If thats the way B&D operate I will never buy another B&D product again.
Buyer beware!!!!!!!

Workhorse
I do not have this new model, but rather an older version. I can honestly say this hand mixer has been a workhorse in my kitchen for over 13 years. I have a larger Kitchen-Aid stand mixer which is great for big jobs, but on small jobs and chopping, nothing beats this mixer. In addition to heavy use of the mixer attachment, I find the chopping attachment particularly useful for everything from salsa to salad dressing to cutting vegetables. Again, I don't think mine is the M880 (if it is, it is a MUCH earlier version!), but I can say that my little mixer continues to power on. It was a worth while investment 13+ years ago, and continues to work hard for me today!

versatile and powerful
this is the best purchase i have ever made in my entire life! i love cooking, and i couldn't make so many of my favorite dishes without my mixer.

pros -

-this little mixer does it all! i haven't used the dough hooks yet, but the beaters are great for beating egg whites or mixing batters (i use them every weekend to make homemade pancakes for my boyfriend), the chopper made quick work of some veggies for a homemade salsa, and the blender makes perfect consistency smoothies and soups.
-the mixer is powerful but not overwhelming. with three speeds, the controls have just enough options and are easy to use.
-everything attaches and detaches smoothly, so mixing, cleaning up, and storing all the parts is easy.
-for the four different attachments, the price is very reasonable. and if you bought all the individual appliances, where would you store them all anyway?
-i don't think anyone else has mentioned this, but in addition to the instruction booklet, it also comes with a recipe booklet. there aren't a lot of recipes, but it's great for generating some ideas (especially about how to use those mysterious dough hooks).

cons -

-the only complaint i can imagine is that the chopper attachment can only process small quantities of food at a time. while it might not be as ideal as a full-size food processor, it didn't take me much longer to chop in a few batches and mix them together after, and my salsa tasted just as good. And the compact size can't be beat!

Braun M880 - Versatile, well-made, good value
I'm pleasantly surprised -- I'd never heard of this little appliance before I started looking for a hand mixer. This takes up little space, is a breeze to use and to clean, does an outstanding job of small batch mixing, chopping, blending -- how did I manage without it? It's become the indispensable item in my kitchen.

Best Hand Mixer Ever!
This is the best hand mixer ever! I've had one for more than 10 years now and only the blades need an eventual replacement. Goes into the dishwasher, and is very cheap! I am buying my third one next week, as a gift to a friend. Sure bet!

Best kitchen appliance
Just got my new Multimix today as a replacement for the Multimix I bought 14 years ago (1994) that finally gave out. I can't tell you how many batches of bread dough, cakes, salsa, and pesto (among other things) I have made with this highly versatile product. There's nothing else on the market that comes close for the price. Another big plus: it's NOT made in China. Thanks Amazon for carrying this product! Unfortunately, Procter & Gamble, which bought Gillette/Braun, seems to have plans to discontinue selling Braun applicances in the US. They should reconsider. I highly recommend any Braun product. I have a Braun coffeemaker and a shaver, too.

Great value, good looks
I buy my cookware individually so I have different types like tri-ply stainless steel, nonstick, and hard anodized from various brands. Each has its pros and cons. I've had this pan for several months now and what I like about it is it feels solid and heavy duty. It is in fact heavy so it may be unwieldy for some but its heft gives me a sense of quality. I also think it's a pretty nice looking piece. I'm happy with my purchase.

It's a nice pan...
Although I've had this pan for a few years, I don't use it that often. I have several other pans of the same capacity but for those times when I need a wide mouth pan, this one can't be beat. I also love the heft of this pan. It's not too heavy but it has a good weight.

2 1/2 Qt. Calphalon pan
This is really a wonderful 2 1/2 qt pan! Very well made - heavy duty. I use it a lot......

great pan
I purchased the pan in addition to some other items. My wife liked the pan so much she's having me order another one. I'll do it this week end along with a few other items i intend to purchase. I have had the best shopping results with Amazon.com. I buy from ebay sometimes but have not been as satisfied.

Handy pot
I am using this little pot for several things, but the best is for baking cornbread in the oven! I really appreciate my Calphalon pots!
